In this Ascension celebration at church I found this Good News. The Good News that changes my understanding forever and gives me freedom! =)

“Jesus is now sitting on the right hand of God.”

It means:

** His job has accomplished (Heb 10:11-14, Ibrani 10:11-14)
11) Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12) But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he (Jesus) sat down at the right hand of God. 13) Since that time he (Jesus) waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, 14) because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

Jesus gave his life once for all. His life is perfect, that is why we don’t need to sacrifice anything to pay our sins. Jesus Christ has fully paid for us.
Mungkin ada yg pernah melakukan hal yg seperti ini:
- sekarang pelayanan d greja karena kemaren baru buat dosa
- waktu doa sering ingetin Tuhan kalo kita udah buat sesuatu yg baik buat Dia
- kita dateng ke gereja karena takut kita gak selamet
No! Don’t ever do that! It seems like, we pay our own salvation! Tidak ada harga yang cukup untuk kita bisa membeli keselamatan kita. Bahkan tidak ada pengorbanan yg cukup untuk menebus dosa2 dan kesalahan2 kita. Jesus has paid the price! He do that once and for all! What we need to do is to receive it. Keselamatan itu buat kita dari Tuhan!

** The ascension (kenaikan) of Jesus is the seal (legitimasi/pengesahan) of our salvation.

Yes Jesus born, then He died, but rose again dan Dia naik ke Sorga. Dia ada di Sorga dan duduk di sebelah kanan Allah Bapa untuk menjadi pengantara kita manusia dengan Allah Bapa. Yesus telah membayar dosa2 kita manusia sehingga Ia berani untuk membela kita dihadapan Bapa. Allah Bapa mendengarkan Yesus karena Yesus telah menyelesaikan tugas2 dari Bapa-Nya sampai akhir.

** He intercedes for us/ Yesus menjadi pengantara bagi kita (Heb 7:25, Ibrani 7:25)
25) Therefore he (Jesus) is able to save completely those who come to God through him (Jesus), because he (Jesus) always lives to intercede for them

** Rom 8:33-34,

33) Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34) Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Yang selalu suka memposisikan/ menyudutkan/ menyalah2kan kita untuk sering merasa bersalah itu bukan Allah Bapa, bukan juga Roh Kudus, ataupun Yesus. Tetapi dia yang datang untuk mencuri, membunuh, dan membinasakan yaitu iblis.
Yesus saja sudah mau mati buat tebus dosa kita, masa kan Ia sendiri tega mau berubah setia dengan menindas kita? Hanya iblis yg suka memancing kita untuk berbuat dosa, lalu setelah kita melakukan dosa dia menyudutkan/menyalahkan kembali ke diri kita sendiri.

Rom 8:1
1) Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Di dalam Yesus tidak ada perasaan takut atau pun perasaan bersalah yg tidak dapat diampuni!

** Jesus is FOR US!
Yesus adalah pembela kita. Hanya Yesus dan melalui Yesus lah satu2nya kita dapat diselamatkan karena Allah Bapa mendengarkan Dia, Anak-Nya.

** 1 John 2:1
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One

Mari kita belajar untuk berhenti berbuat dosa. Kalau kita sadar kita sudah salah, akui dan bertobat. Namun seandainya kita jatuh lagi dan berbuat dosa lagi, mari ingat bahwa kita memiliki pembela yang setia yang selalu mau membela kita, yaitu Yesus Kristus. Bangkit lagi, jalan maju terus, dan rasakan sukacita yang sempurna di dalam Yesus Kristus.

In Jesus’ hands all the power God the Father has put into.

Kenaikan Tuhan Yesus ke Sorga dan duduk di sebelah kanan Allah Bapa adalah bukti bahwa Allah Bapa telah memberikan kuasa-Nya kepada Yesus baik kuasa untuk di bumi, di atas bumi, di bawah bumi dan di Sorga.

** KABARKAN BERITA GEMBIRA INI KEPADA TEMAN2 YANG BELOM PERNAH MENDENGARNYA ATAU BELUM YAKIN AKAN KESELAMATANNYA YOOOO!!!! (Luk 24:45-45) — 45) Then he (Jesus) opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.
